Sunday Setlist

Hey! Why not? I have decided to participate in the sunday setlist carnival over at fredmckinnon.com It looked like a lot of fun to share setlist ideas with other churches throughout the country....so here it goes!

We are in the middle of a series called "The Elephant in the Room" where this week our Pastor spoke about poverty. The timing of his teaching was perfect as our pastor just stepped back into the United States from a trip to Africa. Our Creative Arts team has been working to bridge a relationship with our youth band leaders and so we had the students lead our congregation in worship this weekend! I love seeing what God is doing in the hearts of young people today, though they have an entirely different style, they have spirits that are totally connected to Jesus.

Never Alone (Barlow Girls) (this was a solo/dance/media number with images of poverty flashing on screen) incredibly powerful.

Our tech crew did an incredible job this weekend managing the sound and the lighting cues, they hit it out of the park! I am really proud of them.

  1. Sunny,
Thanks for joining us! What a privilege - Sunday Setlists is growing each week. I hope you get some visits from other bloggers and worship leaders, too!

Thanks for sharing your setlist, those are some of my personal favorites.

Would love to hear more about the solo/dance. Dance is an area in worship arts that just doesn't get the attention it deserves these days!
