I love this...David too had a divided heart...and God said that he was a "man after His own heart". It reminds me that if we seek the Lord, study His word, and sit at His feet that he will "teach us His ways" and He will give us "an undivided heart". We can't work for an undivided heart, we can't teach ourselves God's ways...it is by Him alone that we gain wisdom and understanding.
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10
